EMERGENCY RESPONSE FOR HAITI!
Archbishop Dennis Schnurr has requested that all parishes collect funds to support the humanitarian relief and reconstruction efforts that will be taking place in Haiti. This collection will go to address as many aspects of this crisis as possible, including responses from the U.S. bishops and the Church in Latin America, and the work of Catholic Relief Services. To keep updated about the Church's relief efforts during this crisis, please visit Catholic Relief Services and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops websites at www.crs.org and www.usccb.org.

CRS has also prepared resources for Catholic educators and youth ministers, which you can access at http://education.crs.org/.
Thank you for keeping the people of Haiti in your ongoing prayers.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR CHECK PAYABLE TO ST. THOMAS MORE & NOTE IN THE MEMO SECTION IT IS RELIEF FOR THE HAITI EARTHQUAKE
You may also bring or mail your donation to the Parish Office or the next weekend you visit the parish. We will accept your donation at any time. Anything you can donate helps.
On January 22, 2010, President Obama signed into law permitting donations for the Haiti Earthquake relief to be deducted as a contribution for 2009. The donations must be made from January 12 through February 28 2010 and apply only to cash donations. Our parish tax contribution letters that were previously mailed do not contain any contributions for the Haiti Earthquake. We have mailed a separate letter noting all identified Haiti Earthquake contributions for donor contributions of $250 or more through our parish for 2009. Donations made for Haiti beginning March 1 will be posted to your 2010 contribution record.
