Help Bring Matt Kelly to St. Thomas More!

Matthew Kelly has energized, inspired and renewed millions of people worldwide since 1993. Through speaking and writing, he brings to life the simple and practical principles inspired by the life and teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Matthew Kelly Foundation is a 501c (3) non-profit organization that hosts programs and produces resources for spiritual nourishmentin all walks of life. Through the efforts of the Foundation Matthew seeks to affirm the highest values of the human spirit, reminds us of our unrealized potential and inspires us to be the best version of ourselves.  View video.

The St. Thomas More Faith Formation Commission invites you to join us in hosting a Matthew Kelly event right here at our parish. This entails:

• Raising the required fees for the one night event ~ tentatively booked for April 6, 2011
• Recruiting volunteers to help with coordination of the event.

Let’s be perfectly honest….It costs money to host this event and to officially schedule a time in Matthew’s calendar. If each of us contributes $10 to $20, we would easily be able to meet the required amount. During these tough economic times, if you are unable to give this amount, anything that you can contribute would be helpful. Keep in mind that many who attend a Matthew Kelly event find it a life-changing experience. We ask that you prayerfully consider helping.

Let’s work together with Matthew and the Holy Spirit in spreading the Good News of the Gospel in our community. We, like St. Francis, find it hard to ask for money, but we trust that we are “begging for the Lord.”

The Faith Formation Commission has established a parish account to begin accepting your donation to make this event a reality. Your generous offering will be recorded to your contribution record and is tax-deductible in the year we achieve our goal.
