Boy Scout Information, Calendar & Events

Purpose: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. The National BSA Council supports local councils that provide quality youth programs, including Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing.

Information: The Boy Scouts of America endeavors to develop American citizens who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit. The BSA program fosters self-reliance, courage, resourcefulness, and helps develop personal values based on religious concepts, as well as the desire and skills to help others. BSA promotes pride in our American heritage and respect for basic rights of all people, while preparing boys for leadership.
