CATHOLIC FAITH AT HOME RESOURCES
FOR ST. THOMAS MORE PARISHIONERS
JULY 11

CAN WE PROVE GOD EXISTS?

Why should there be such doubt—such confusion—
about the existence of God?

For thousands of years, people have debated His existence.
Most conclude that it cannot be proven—one way or the other.

Some become agnostics,
asserting that they “don’t know” if God exists.
Atheists conclude that God does not exist.
These people represent a special category that
God describes as,
“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).
This scripture is repeated in Psalm 53:1.

Why is this question important today?
Current research shows that a majority of our children
opt out of believing in God around age 13!

What is happening in our culture to lead them to this conclusion?

and answer when children or adults ask,
providing reasons for the credibility of our faith.

THE BIBLE IS VITALLY IMPORTANT
TO OUR LIVES AS CHRISTIANS!!

The Bible can be challenging to read,
especially without guidance - it was meant to be read with guidance!

Philip... heard [the Ethopian] reading Isaiah the prophet and said,
“Do you understand what you are reading?”
He replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?”
(Acts 8: 30-31)

It can appear to be a book of strange stories
that don’t have any real impact on our everyday lives.
Yet, the Bible is vitally important and can transform our souls.

DO EXTRATERRESTRIALS EXIST?

A highly anticipated Pentagon report was recently released on
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), aka UFOs,
in which the UAP task force examines unknown objects
through a national security lens.

While this has spawned a busy news cycle and shot
UFO conspiracies into the mainstream,
the report contains no proof of aliens.

However, is there a possibility that God created other beings?

PRESERVE OUR
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

PLEASE!! WE NEED YOU!
Offer when you can be there - if not weekly, then note the frequency when you can be there.

Nothing we do is more intimate or more adoring
than receiving Jesus' very Body and Blood of Christ
in holy Communion.

And He grants us His Presence physically,
risking abandonment and mishandling
to be near us physically through Eucharistic Adoration.

He is not a symbol or Bread - Christ's True Presence IS at Mass and in the consecrated Hosts.

HE asked us to visit Him at Church
- for YOUR SAKE - and mine and for all.

During Adoration, He is Present in a beautiful monstrance,
Jesus' Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus,
really, truly, and substantially present in the Eucharist.
